A built-in wardrobe<\/strong> is installed in a room so that the walls, floor and ceiling of the room form the framework for the wardrobe. This means that most of the bearing elements of the wardrobe are fixed to the structures of the room. Positive aspects of this solution are a reliable and solid wardrobe and saving money. <\/p>\n

The wardrobe does not have to be completely built in into a recess \u2013 one or two side panels may be used. <\/p>\n

This type of wardrobe hides a recess with beautiful doors and blends nicely with any interior, forming a wall furniture unit with different details. <\/p>\n

A partly built-in wardrobe<\/strong> fills the intended area completely. However, there will always be a gap between the top of the wardrobe and the ceiling, and the walls of the wardrobe and that of the room because houses do not have perfectly even walls or ceilings. It’s wise to think about socks and laundry, which are best stored in separate drawers, when planning the interior of your wardrobe.<\/p>

The hallway wardrobe<\/strong> should be located at the entrance to the apartment, so it’s particularly convenient for storing your own and your guests’ outerwear. A mirror fits well on the door. While some shelving may be needed to store hats and gloves during the winter season, a large proportion should still belong to the pole. The pole is convenient for hanging both longer and shorter coats and jackets. Sometimes you can even hide a washing machine or tumble dryer in the front hallway. It all depends on the person’s needs and the space available.<\/p>

A wardrobe<\/strong> under the sloping wall <\/strong>can be a clever way to make the most of your space. By building a cloakroom on the ramp wall, you don’t lose space that would otherwise probably be uncomfortable for other activities. In this kind of wardrobe, you should lower the shelves and make the shoe racks narrower, as children’s clothes don’t take up as much space. If you have more than one child and the room is large, you can also use a wardrobe to divide the room into two.<\/p>

A cloakroom for a small space<\/strong> needs to be thought through very carefully. The first step should be to find the area that is least used. When planning a wardrobe, it is important to take into account your own preferences and the space available. However, there are a few guidelines<\/b> that it would be good practice<\/b> to take into account. For example, the depth of a wardrobe cupboard (including doors) could be at least 650mm and more, but not more than 800mm. Otherwise, access to the back of the shelves is limited and the cupboard takes up more space than it can actually accommodate.<\/p>\n

In general, you shouldn’t have to worry about matching shelves and drawers as they are available in a wide range of depths. Rather, pay attention to the hanging clothes<\/b> that go between the doors and the back wall of the wardrobe. You will certainly need to be able to accommodate a wider clothes rail, but if necessary you can use pull-out clothes hangers, for example. They allow clothes to fit one behind the other.<\/p>\n

Before you start ordering a wardrobe, you should think about where exactly you want the wardrobe to go in the room<\/b>. This in turn will tell you the dimensions and number of walls of the wardrobe you need. In addition, think about the contents of the cupboard:
Should there be enough shelves and how many?
Do you prefer to hang your clothes on a hanging rail or do you prefer a lot of wastebaskets?<\/p>\n

As with other aspects, wardrobe lighting should be considered at the planning stage. A well-lit wardrobe is easy to use and can be a design feature in its own right.
One increasingly popular option is LED strip lighting. LED luminaires have become increasingly affordable over time, and there are many different shades to choose from to suit individual preferences. The big advantages of LED are uniform illumination, low energy consumption, small dimensions. In addition, LED bulbs do not overheat and are therefore safe.
LED lamps are also a convenient choice because they can be installed with, for example, a motion sensor as well as a remote control. With adjustable light intensity, you can change the mood from cosy to very bright.
Additional solutions for wardrobe lighting include halogen bulbs, which are common because of their low cost, and fairy lights. The light chains have a rather romantic look, but thanks to the very wide selection, there is something for everyone. However, in general, their illuminating power is rather modest.<\/p>\n
